Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) — along with 22 bipartisan Members of Congress representing the Chesapeake Bay watershed region — called for a new Chesapeake Bay agreement that sets ambitious, measurable, and achievable targets, especially for water quality improvement and pollution reduction, in order to restore and protect the Bay.
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) introduced H.R. 5243 to increase data transparency around Medicare Advantage supplemental benefits for seniors. The legislation would require companies that offer Medicare Advantage plans to submit enrollee-level data on supplemental benefits to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

RICHMOND, Va. – Thursday, Aug. 21, advocates will join with Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan to decry the Trump Administration’s recent cancellation of Virginia’s $156 million “Solar for All” grant, intended to help low- and middle-income families access cost-saving clean energy. As a result of this cancellation alone – just the latest in a string of anti-environmental rollbacks – Virginia will lose out on an estimated 2,000 jobs while Virginians continue to face rising energy costs because of the Trump Administration’s failed policies.
