Washington, D.C. – In case you missed it: On Friday, May 15th, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04), State Senator Lashrecse D. Aird (SD-13) and State Delegate Kimberly Pope Adams (HD-82) sent a letter to the Chairman and CEO of Envolve LLC demanding answers and swift resolution to deteriorating living conditions at Carriage House Apartments, an affordable housing community in Petersburg, Virginia.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) announced the winners of the 2026 Congressional Art Competition for Virginia’s Fourth District. The overall first place winner, Gabrielle Williams, submitted her original acrylic painting entitled American Dream. An eleventh grader attending Thomas Dale High School in Chester, Virginia, Gabrielle is a dedicated student artist and scholar whose accomplishments reflect both academic excellence and creative achievement.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) and Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) introduced H.R 8853 to expand grant funding opportunities for Amtrak, a cornerstone of the U.S. public transportation system. The bill, the Amtrak Grant Flexibility Act, would make it easier for Amtrak to complete future projects, cut down on completion timelines and improve passenger rail for the millions who rely on it each year.
