Appropriations Requests
Programmatic Appropriations Requests
Each year, Congress determines funding levels for federal agencies and programs through the appropriations process. Organizations and stakeholders can submit programmatic requests to advocate for specific funding levels, language, or policy priorities in appropriations bills. Submit a Programmatic Funding Request.
Community Project Funding Requests
Through the Community Project Funding process, eligible local governments can request federal funding for specific projects that benefit the Fourth District. Congresswoman McClellan’s office will review proposals to determine which projects align with community needs and House Appropriations Committee guidelines. Submit a Community Project Funding Request.
Process & Timeline
The deadline for Fiscal Year 2027 requests is two weeks prior to committee deadlines, which will be posted on the House Appropriations Committee webpage. The office will update this page accordingly when additional guidance is released by the committee.
