Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04), Chairman John Moolenaar of the Select Committee on China (MI-02) and Congressman Jay Obernolte (CA-23) introduced the bipartisan Guarding the U.S. Against Adversarial Robotics Dominance (GUARD) Act. The legislation requires scrutiny of robots made by China and other foreign adversaries and would prohibit the importation of robots determined to be a national security threat to the United States. 

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) and Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) introduced H.R 8853 to expand grant funding opportunities for Amtrak, a cornerstone of the U.S. public transportation system. The bill, the Amtrak Grant Flexibility Act, would make it easier for Amtrak to complete future projects, cut down on completion timelines and improve passenger rail for the millions who rely on it each year.
