Congresswoman McClellan's Youth Advisory Council (YAC) offers a platform for high school students in VA-04 to actively engage with their Representative, federal staff, and current events through monthly meetings.
The Congressional App Challenge is a competition aimed at encouraging middle and high school students to learn how to code by creating their own applications.

My office offers internships in the spring, summer, and fall. The internships are designed for undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates interested in learning more about our nation’s legislative branch. This is a paid internship. Candidates with ties to Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District are prioritized.
The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
