As the Congresswoman for Virginia’s Fourth District, I represent more than 800,000 constituents across Southeastern Virginia. Whether you live in the city of Richmond, in rural parts of Brunswick or Dinwiddie Counties or anywhere in between, I aim to be your voice in Washington to advocate for you and what’s best for our Commonwealth. I love representing the state I was born and raised in — I know how special our communities are, and it’s an honor to fight for them in Congress.

This past year alone has brought with it much uncertainty and fear, as the Trump Administration has unleashed chaos. Through it all, I’ve sought to spread awareness and share your stories in Washington, as we work together to make government a force for good that meets the needs of the American people. In my role on the Energy & Commerce Committee, I defend Virginian’s access to affordable health care, low energy costs and a clean, livable planet. I am committed to holding federal agencies accountable when they fail to serve the interests of the American people.
